THE BRISTOL MODERNIST & SIXTIES WEEKENDER 2021
FRIDAY 30TH APRIL TO MONDAY 3RD MAY 2021
VENUES AND WRISTBAND INFORMATION>>>
Due to the government stepping in and cancelling all public events in the run up to the Bristol weekender 2020 unfortunately we had no choice but to postpone the event.
As you can imagine this is a hard blow to take as we had sold the event out weeks before its arrival, we are however bowled over at the amount of support we have received from wristband holders, friends, family and music business partners. Because of this support we can announce that ALL wristbands that were purchased for the 2020 weekender will be valid for our 2021 May bank holiday weekender, not only that but we are extending the weekend from 2 nights to 3 meaning that anyone who bought a wristband for 2020 automatically will have admission to all 3 nights and daytime activities at no extra cost.
We have spoken to all the bands, venues and DJ's and can also announce that they are all looking forward to being part of our bigger, better 2021 experience. the line up will remain the same just in a slightly different order with SMALL FAKERS headlining the opening event on Friday 30th April.
We shall be announcing when BIG BOSS MAN, LITTLE TRIGGERS and HEY BULLDOG will be appearing over the weekend at a later date along with some very special guests who will be joining us.
Of course staging the event over a bank holiday means two daytime events with stalls, DJ's scooters and scooter cruises as well as a scooter competition and plenty of time to visit our historic city.
The 2021 superstar DJ's are
GLYN PREECE (OUT OF TIME)
ANDY HILL (CHILLS AND FEVER)
LEE MILLER (NEW UNTOUCHABLES - DREAMSVILLE)
ROB POWNER (WANG DANG DOODLE)
JON DRAKE (HEAVENLY BLOCKED)
LEE & DAVE GRIMSHAW (SPINOUT - SEN-SA-SHUN)
BRYAN ROOKES - CATCH MY DRIFT
ALAN SAUNDERS - CRIS DAVIES (SUIT YOURSELF)
PETE WHELBOURN - (https://www.modclothin.co.uk/)
SIOBHAN NOLAN-FARMER - IAN HURFORD
JODIE RICHARDSON - CALLUM SAMMON
JULIAN ROCHFORT - PAUL TAYLOR - MALCOLM BEEDLE
PETE COGLEY & more tbc.
Please note - We understand that there are people that will not be able to make the 2021 weekender due to other circumstances, with this in mind we will be opening a reselling scheme from 1st October 2020 meaning that anyone who wants to buy or sell wristbands please get in touch with us via our Facebook page after this date and we will help with this cause - thank you.
Hotel and travel information.
Hotels near the venues - All the venues are in the city centre, closest hotels are in the BS1 and BS2 postal code areas.
Travel - Bristol Temple Meads train station is a five minute cab journey to the venues and Bristol sits nicely on the M4 and M5 motorways, if coming by scooter there are plenty of A roads leading into the city from all over the south west.
