The New Untouchables annual scooter in London has become an institution for lovers of two stroke beautiful Italian machinery and 2019 was no exception as 100's of chrome laden and classic beautiful machines made their way through Londons capitol in clouds of blue two stroke smoke, it always feels that the beginning of the scootering festivities really kicks off at this event, don't get me wrong there are always amazing events that happen over the colder months but there is something special about scooters, sunshine, great music, cool people and a fantastic atmosphere that makes the old hairs stand on the back of the neck.

The afternoon kicked off as always from the legendary Carnaby street and the immense cruise wound its way past London's iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace before landing smack bang in the centre of trendy Shoreditch at the Strongrooms. I tell you, those Shoreditch hipsters thought THEY were cool until the hyper cool of the Mod scene turned up in their droves...

The afternoon was spent snapping away and catching up with friends and planning our next adventures, one thing that can be said about the New Untouchables is that they know how to host a great event, music was supplied by the fantastic Sha La La's and The Liquorice Experiment with turntable duties from Rob Bailey, Ian Jackson, Jodie Richardson, Francois Nordman and Strutter keeping the dancers grooving til the small hours, at one point even Mr Blobby turned up for a bit of a boogie.

All in all another great run and judging by the quality of the scooters it looks like 2019 is going to be a stella year for our two wheel friends......
